Monograph Series

Welcome to the Occasional Monograph SeriesAs part of our continuing programme of helping to develop and support archaeology, particularly community archaeology, across the region, CBA Yorkshire have now launched an Occasional Monograph series. It has been said that the discovery of a site dates not from its excavation, but from its publication. Only then will you be able to share the results of all your hard work with the wider archaeological community. Therefore the idea behind the occasional monograph series is to provide this platform for any unpublished, larger-scale heritage projects that CBA Yorkshire members/groups have undertaken in the past. The new monograph series will compliment and expand our established Forum and Forum + publications. These projects can be on any heritage-based theme – be it archaeological excavation, research or historic buildings. We are particularly keen to help members produce reports on long-term projects or ones that may fallen a bit by the wayside once the digging has stopped. |
