[BMLHG] ‘I’ve got a little list…’

Presented by Richard Taylor, Chair, Ripon Civic Society

What exactly is a listed building and when were the first buildings listed?  Where are they in Ripon and what are the implications of listing for owners and for society, and how do they come to be given the attribution?
Taking stock of listed buildings and what is now included in the national list, will all be revealed by Richard, who spent his professional life in heritage conservation.
