DESCRIPTION:A full day in Baildon arranged by Kevin Illingworth.\n\nBaildon Hall (listed Grade II* and now a social club) is a gentry house of medieval origin with a cross-wing\, probably of the late fifteenth century\, cased in stone in 1673 with the timber-framing still visible inside.\nWe will meet at Baildon Hall Club\, Hallfield Drive\, Baildon BD17 6NH at 10.30am. The Hall will provide drinks upon arrival and at lunchtime; a buffet lunch will be available. DESCRIPTION:Funded by the NLHF and delivered by Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA)\, Coasts in Mind (CiM) has been working with specific coastal communities around England to co-curate and map digital evidence of coastal and anthropogenic climate change. Using a specially designed online portal\, CiM is preserving local knowledge\, narratives of change and otherwise overlooked archival material\, held in local and personal collections\, in a way that can be downloaded as a dataset. In doing so\, it is raising the profile of community heritage and its unique value in contributing to understandings of the effects of climate change\, as well as for building resilience within the communities themselves.

DESCRIPTION:Tours run from 11am-12.30pm on Sunday 10th and 24th May and at 6-7.30pm on Wednesday 27th May\nThornborough Henges are a unique triple henge dating back to the Neolithic period and have a number of other significant features which are no longer easily visible. The northern henge is the best preserved henge of the three with impressive banks and ditches\, thanks to its covering of trees which were a relatively recent addition. \nYour tour guide will explain the interesting archaeological features that are in the north field but are no longer visible.
